About

Mike Lowecki was a newcomer to doing big business in a cutthroat city riddled with corruption. In 2005, extortion, fraud and deceit were often part of staying in the game, Chicago-style. The  people Mike trusted the most betrayed him for their own personal gain. Rather than investigate the whole truth, the feds pressured him to take a plea bargain. Mike’s swift ascension to multimillionaire plummeted even quicker to federal inmate at Leavenworth. Upon his release, with thousands of dollars in fines, plus “convicted felon” added to his resume, freedom became another kind of prison.
